Dangjin Waemok Village: An epitome of experiencing majestic sunrise and peaceful sunset

You can enjoy the spectacular view of the sun rising over the horizon of the West Sea . As well as the settling sun on the west coast below the horizon. Because the land mass stretches outward to the north. The Dangjin Waemok Village located in to the ending point of the west sea, that is why you can see sunrise to the east, sunset to the west and also moonrise

It has been called “Waemok” since it looks like the neck of heron.

You can watch the sunrise and sunset in Dangjin Waemok Village at least 180 days a year. Numerous people visit the area to enjoy the sunrise and sunset throughout the year. Tourists can taste fresh seafood at Waemok Port near the village.
