How to reach your desired destination- Daegu Apsan Mountain

The entire Apsan area is humungous. Certainly, you’ve got several entrances to avail, depending on your route of choice. And with numerous attractions on offer, it’s a journey of a lifetime. This is why experts always recommend advance planning to avoid disappointments.

The most desirable entrance point is Apsan Park. Being a renowned destination, you can easily search for it via GPS or your taxi. Therefore, simply mention Apsan Gong-won, and you’ll be amazed by all the information.

For visitors coming from downtown, it takes an estimated time of 20 minutes. As far as travel costs are concerned, they can go up to 7000 won. On the other hand, those who wish to arrive via bus can take the 300, 410, 410-1, 750, or the Rapid 4. These will direct you straight to your desired Apsan Park destination.

Meanwhile, metro travelers can opt for the Red Line, directing them towards Anjirang Station. After heading out on exit 3, they can take a right that leads towards the Apsan peaks.

Oh, and while you are in Daegu, don’t forget to go to the Daegu Spa Valley.

Apsan Mountain Cable Car – a visual treat for the senses

You can’t leave the Daegu Apsna Mountain without venturing on the cable car. Considered to be one of the destination’s highlight features, visitors get a glimpse of scenic ridgelines. Moreover, just 15 minutes’ worth of cable car trailing grants you arrival at Apsna peak. That’s almost 750m up the mountain.

At the same time, explorers get a chance to discover two other peaks, Daedeoksan as well as Sanseongsan. These arise from the same cable car trail.

The cable car ride operates from around 10 am to 7 pm. With plenty of group discounts on offer, the round trip cable car ride estimates to 9500 won for adults and 7500 won for kids. While it is a little pricey, it will surely be worth your while. However, if you choose to take the one-way route, costs are relatively cheaper.

Daegu Observatory – pure panoramic bliss

With Daegu Observatory, explorers get a chance to see the gorgeous city and beyond. Designed to thrill and amaze both tourists and locals, one simply can’t get enough of this enchanting location.
