There are lots of coffee chains and cafes throughout South Korea. Each of them is unique and has a different concept and a good ambiance. In Korea, cat cafes, toy cafes, flower cafes, board game cafes, virtual reality cafes, and the like are very common. They are not considered a rare cafes as there are many cafes like them that you can easily find in Korea. By the way, do you like coffee? Are you a coffee lover? Well, I am also someone who enjoys coffee a lot. When I was in Daejeon, Iโve visited few cute and excellent cafes near Chungnam National University. Two of them are Coffee Interview and Date 0411.
Coffee Interview
The entrance gate of Coffee Interview is so simple yet instagrammable. The first time I visited this cafรฉ, I wasnโt sure whereโs the cashier and where to order. The cafรฉ is not that big but it took me maybe a minute or two before I found it. They offer varieties of coffee, dessert, burgers, and others. For me, the drinks and foods are delicious.
Almost every day, there are a lot of people coming here and, if you are not lucky enough, there might not have an available seat for you. There werenโt too many indoor seats however, you can stay in the outdoor garden if you want to. The atmosphere both inside and outside of the cafe is really good. But then I think, it would be an excellent idea to drink and eat outside during the spring or autumn season. Furthermore, it also has a lot of photo zones and itโs so pretty.

Date 0411 (Coffee & Brunch & PUB)
Date 0411 doesnโt only offer coffees and other desserts but also brunch meals, pizza, pasta, fries, and more. It is a two-story building with a unique moon-like display on the rooftop. The first floor is huge and spacious that can accommodate a group of customers. There are also tables and chairs positioned outside. So if you want to stay and have your coffee or meal time with nature, then you can opt to sit and enjoy your time there.
Thereโs a stair in the left corner that will lead you to the second floor. When we visited this place, we stayed here and I noticed that thereโs an elevator. But this elevator was not the typical elevator that people get on. Itโs a food elevator or dumbwaiter, a lift intended to carry food. Also, you donโt need to go down and asked for tissues because thereโs also a mini service station on the second floor where you can get a spoon, fork, knife, tissues, and water. Another thing is, thereโs also a veranda here with tables and some comfortable chairs. So if you want to get some fresh air, you can spend your time here.
My favorite spots here are the photo zones. From the first floor and to the rooftop, you could see cute photo zones. You wonโt just enjoy the delicious coffee or brunch here but if you loved taking pictures, you might also have a fun day here.

These two cafes are just a few steps away from each other. It also takes just a few minute-walk from Chungnam National University Bus Stop to get there. If you plan to go there by car, thereโs a spacious parking lot that you can use for free. Except for these two cafes, you can also find other beautiful and amazing cafes nearby.
