As a fan of hallyu — also known as the ‘Korean wave’ — visiting places dedicated to K-Culture or K-Pop etc. is super exciting. What’s more, places like these have a wonderful ability to overcome language and cultural barriers, attracting hallyu-lovers from all over the world. K-Pop fans can enjoy special pop ups and events on their favourite band’s special dates. I recently visited Cafe Noah to celebrate the anniversary of my favourite K-Pop group. Let’s take a look.
Cafe Noah

Cafe Noah is located in Guro district, South of the Han River. Although it is not close to the city centre, the hallyu events are so special that your trip will be worth it. I visited Cafe Noah on the 7th Anniversary of my favorite K-Pop group, BTOB. However, the Cafe holds events for several K-Pop groups, celebrating anniversaries and birthdays.
Cup Sleeve Events
Typical of other hallyu hotspots, Cafe Noah features cup sleeve events, including as part of the BTOB anniversary. Simply buy a drink at the host cafe and receive a special cup sleeve, typically with an image or message from your favourite K-Pop group. At Cafe Noah, they stack the sleeves in displays, so the excitement starts before you’ve even got your coffee!
Customized Cans
If you’re not a coffee fan, you may prefer an iced tea or soda. However, your drink preferences won’t restrict you from the special goodies! I bought what I thought was soda, but ended up being tea. I usually don’t like tea but it tasted quite nice. Moreover, when you put the cans together, they form a complete image! They were so adorable that I ended up buying 6 cans…AND they came with free photo cards and stickers!

Atmosphere
You’re in a coffee shop surrounded by images of your favourite K-Pop group, who could ask for more? The atmosphere is so warm, especially alongside friends and other K-Pop fans.

Cafe Noah really goes all out when decorating for a K-Pop event. Expect to see plenty of charming photos of your bias, as well as adorable baby pics too!
Moreover, there is a screen that plays music videos all day long. Therefore, you can sit back, relax and reminisce over your favourite videos.
