Jeju Island is a must-visit resort island if you are planning to travel to Korea. There are so many beautiful attractions to explore and fun activities to do here. For example, cafe hopping. Imagine taking a sip of coffee or tea while enjoying an amazing ocean view right in front of you, doesn’t it sound cool? In my article today, I am going to introduce you guys to a coffee shop located right in front of Woljeongri Beach– Cafe Moraebi.
There is a coffee street that houses lots of cafes right in front Woljeongri Beach but Cafe Moraebi caught my attention. The exterior of Cafe Moraebi can be seen in all white and blue. The design somehow reminds me of Santorini in Greece. The cafe consists of two buildings which are the main buildings and annex buildings.
Beverages and Food
Cafe Moraebi provides a wide range of options for coffee. From americano, cold brews to espresso variations. You can recharge yourself with some ice caffeine drinks after having fun at the beach. If you don’t like coffee, Cafe Moraebi also offers beverages like teas, juices, chocolate drinks, ice creams and beers. They also offer special local menus like Jeju Hallabong Special and Jeju Special Tea series.
The price of beverage ranges from 4800 to 9800 won, which is considered reasonable for a coffee shop located at a tourist site.
On top of that, Cafe Moraebi also offers some mouth-watering pastries. You can also purchase the cafe’s in-house roasted coffee beans here.
My friend and I ordered hallabong juice, sunrise blossom and some pastries. I loved the taste of the sunrise bloom. The combination of hibiscus tea and hallabong was refreshing and new to me.
Cafe Moraebi at a Glance
I got myself a seat by the windows. The floor-to-ceiling windows framed the youthful energy of the Woljeongri Beach. I enjoyed the moment sitting in an air-conditioned cafe with a cup of ice drinks in hand, watching the calm seawater. It was so healing.
Overall, the cafe has a cozy interior and gives off a relaxing vacation vibe. The wooden accents, Egyptian elements and warm natural lighting add to its ambiance.
Aside from indoor seats, Cafe Moraebi also offers outdoor seats at the space between the main building and the annex building for customers who prefer fresh open air. You can get a beautiful view of Woljeongri Beach’s white sand and emerald-blue ocean water right in front of your eyes. Also, the space is shielded with white canvas so you don’t have to worry about the strong sunlight.
Don’t forget to check out the terrace as well for a cool breeze and stunning view!
Cafe Moraebi operates from 9.00 a.m. to 10.oo p.m. every day.
462 Haemajihaean-ro, Gujwa-eup, Jeju-si, Jeju-do.
I spent around 2 hours in the cafe enjoying the tea and panoramic beach view. Cafe Moraebi is no doubt a good place for those who need some healing. I highly recommend you to drop by here and grab a drink if you happen to visit Woljeongri Beach.
