If you are a bookworm like me, you better keep reading because I am bringing you an amazing bookstore. And it’s a hundred percent online. I have already purchased three times in this store: once when I was back in my home country, and two times since I have come to Korea.
Here’s the truth: if the delivery didn’t take so long, (two weeks!!) I would marry this store if I could. I think the concept is incredible. It has all sorts of books, and the delivery is free.
I had been looking for a great book store online because, to be honest, finding books in Spanish is a whole ordeal here in Korea. I haven’t found a single store that sells books that I can read in my native language that are not classics or language-learning textbooks.
So, when I stumbled upon this online store, I was baffled. That’s because they offer books written in (or translated into) several different languages. Comic books, recipe books, novels, nonfiction… everything you need is there.
They offer are around 20 million titles, normally in both hard and soft covers, all with free delivery to 170 countries. They are based in the United Kingdom, and the store has become my all-time favorite when it comes to thinking of gifts for my friends.
When I bought from this online bookstore for the first time, it was Korean books for me to learn the basics of the language. I was so happy with my purchase because it helped me prepare for what I was going to face when I arrived in this country that I have called my home for the last few years.
Of course, just as in any bookstore, sometimes a few titles are not available or sold out. However, this online bookstore has the biggest selection that I have stumbled upon with shipping o Korea avalible. Additionally, ita makes me very happy that I do not have to pay for an extravagant amount for books to be delivered to my doorstep.
Currently, I am now waiting for my latest purchase. I can’t wait to breathe in that the new-book smell while sipping a cup of tea. So, if you are a book lover, wherever you may be in the world, I highly recommend you visit Book Depository!
