Berry Donut in Daejeon is one of those places that I found on Instagram while trying to find cute dessert places near my home. Since I live close to Daejeon, I was glad to be able to visit this place.
The cafe
I guess Berry Donut can be considered a dessert cafe since it has a few options when it comes to beverages. But, their main attraction is for sure their donuts! They are truly one of a kind and super delicious.
Other than the delicious treats, the place is so nice and spacious. Many tables have different aesthetics and decorations, and the big patio in the middle makes it look bigger.
I decided to sit in a corner with a nice simple table, some cushions, and outlets. It was a very comfortable seat, and I spent a good few hours there.
Coffee and Drinks
Berry Donut sells beverages that pair well with their donuts. It is a very simple menu, but with such elaborate donuts, thatโs exactly what you need.
On the list we have:
- Coffee: Original, Berry
- Milk: Original, Matcha, Cinnamon
- Ade: Berry (strawberry, blueberry)
All the drinks are ranging close to the price of โฉ5,500.
Donuts
Now for the donuts, you can choose among many options. This includes signature donuts or classic wheel-shaped donuts in many flavors.
I went for a strawberry donut. It surprised me with fresh strawberry jelly and dried strawberries on top of a flavored sugar glaze. Perfection! The donut was big and a delicious afternoon treat.
Their signature donuts seem to come with lots of filling also, which I would say is not a bad thing! They really have so many options, and their menu is a little bit different every time I visit. They update their menu regularly to keep up with the latest trends.
The price ranges from 4,500 to 5,000.
Donut Cakes
Another interesting concept that they have at Berry Donut is their donut cakes. Basically, it is a mini cake, made of donuts. They put two big donuts stacked with their amazing fillings. It is perfect if you are meeting with a small group for a special occasion and there are not enough of you to finish an entire cake on your own.
Holidays
On their Instagram page, you can find their latest additions to the menu. I found the dessert cafe during the Halloween season, and it was very cute to see their creations to celebrate the date. During Christmas, they also had many options.
Conclusion
Berry Donut became one of my favorite places in Daejeon to eat some sweets after a stressful week. Their donuts are really well made and the taste is surely fresh and with great ingredients.
