Behind the Rails
If you are new to this series, let me give a brief context before I start. I realized that not many people talk or know about the cool area behind the Haeundae Museum, the one located next to the subway station. Over the past few months, Iโve been a bit busy trying various places in the area to write about them and give the place the shine in the spotlight it deserves.
This area is full of both local and foreign food gems, as well as cafes and shops to do some window shopping. And while everyone has different tastes and preferences, I am pretty sure there is something for everyone to like here!
For this post, it is time to introduce Fruto Fruta. Some people crave fruit and something cold or fresh when they go to the beach. Fruto Fruta satisfy your cravings!
Fruto Fruta
Located in a far part of the street, there is a white and blue store. Here you will notice colorful fruits contrasting with the shopโs design. It is simple, and it actually reminded me of the Greek Style shops on Pinterest. It actually looks like a shop taken out of a painting or a virtual game.
My favorite part of this shop is the island of fruits in the middle, all kinds of fruits! All are colorful and look like they taste amazing โ arranged in market style. You can even buy them if you want!
The Menu at Fruto Fruta
What made me the happiest when I saw the menu for the first time is that they have Acai bowls and other similar bowls. I love these bowls and it was my first time seeing one in Busan. The Acai bowl and the Blue Bowl are 12,000 won. The purple Bowl is 14,500 won. Just look at those colors! They are so pretty that I even feel bad eating them.
For their drinks, they have juice mixes. All of them were between 7,000 and 7,800 won. They really have everything; Piรฑa colada juice, tropical, berry, mango pineapple, raspberry mango, banana peanut, grape, kiwi, and seasonal juice! Passion fruit orange soda and citron lemon soda are also part of their menu. And, they have a veggie line of juices such as carrot, kale or celery.
Letโs not forget about their seasonal menu! It consists of a plate of cut fruit, a shake, or ice cream. And their signature is cut peach when it is in season.
Extra
You are able to either eat inside or ask for takeout. With takeout, you can have a picnic at the beach! What else is better than a picnic with fresh fruit? It can be a perfect dessert and for another meal, you can check out any other restaurant in the same area. My personal recommendation is The Burger Shop and fruit from Fruto Fruta for dessert.
