1. Nami Island
Well, who does not know this iconic destination? Becoming one of tourists’ main bucketlists in South Korea since the place was made as a filming location for the popular “Winter Sonata” drama, Nami Island is one of the destinations that you shall not miss during the autumn season! You can stroll around the avenue of honey yellow trees, and you can also w**itness the beauty of the Han River. I personally think that Nami Island is in its best during the autumn season, since the trees become really beautiful in fall colours!

2. Jeonju Hanok Village
Located in the historical city of Jeonju, this village is known as the largest of its kind in South Korea. There are numerous picturesque statues, fountains, and pavilions on the main streets, as well as 735 traditional Korean traditional houses that are worth seeing. For your information, those houses are still lived by the locals! However, many homes have been transformed into a restaurant, café, gift shop, museum, or exhibition space that you can enjoy. Seoraksan Mountain is one of the most popular South Korea’s tourist destinations, whose location is strectched from Sokcho, Goseong, Inje, to Yangyan in the province of Gangwon. In fact, it is considered as the third highest mountain in South Korea. The summit of Daecheongbong Peak offers you the magnificent natural landscape of Seoraksan Mountain and the East Sea, which are also renowned for their magnificent views of sunrise and sunset. You will also witness the fall foliage of red maple trees, which is definitely enchanting! For the disabled and the elderly, they can easily go up to the summit of the mountain by using a cable car.

4. Daedunsan Mountain
Located between the cities of Daejeon and Jeonju, this mountain is renowned for its 127-step ladder bridge named the Daedunsan Suspension Bridge, as well as a rainbow bridge called the Geumgang Bridge. Those trademarks of the mountain would make your hiking experience at Daedunsan more worthwhile and unforgettable, since you can enjoy the beautiful views surrounding the mountain from those bridges, especially the colours of the fall foliage surrounding the mountain. There is also a cable car that you can ride for only 11,000 won for a round-trip, which will also save you 2-4 hours of a long hiking time. I personally think that Daedunsan is one of the must-visit mountains in South Korea, especially during the autumn season.
