Want to experience a fun playday with nature? Anseong Farmland is the place to be. It is the largest experience-based amusement farm in Korea. They have a wide range of livestock such as cows, goats, alpacas, sheep, donkeys, pigs and geese which the visitors can feed and touch. There are also a variety of activities that the whole family can enjoy like horseback riding, bicycle riding and kite-flying. The animals are not the only attraction of this place, if you visit during the autumn season, you will get to revel in the sight of the Muhly Grass Hill and Cosmos Field. Now, let me tell you more about this awesome place.
About Anseong Farmland

Anseong Farmland is a 1,287,000 m2 ranch located in the outskirts of Anseong city. Upon entering the main gate, visitors will be greeted by the sight of European countryside style buildings. This place is a mixture of a farm and an amusement park. Here you can see all kinds of Korean domestic livestock from rabbits and turkey to pigs and horses. They offer various amusement facilities especially for children. The farm is also famous for its pink Muhly grass and vast Cosmos flower fields. It is a favorite filming location and has been featured in numerous Korean dramas such as While You Were Sleeping (2017) and Run On (2020-2021).

Farm Experience

Visitors can hand-feed the animals, pet them and even cuddle with them. This experience is really satisfying and educational not only for children but adults as well. You will see rabbits digging holes, alpacas always smiling to the cameras, baby animals cutely begging for more food, children running after the animals and a lot of other scenes which you can only witness in farms. They also have an Equestrian Center that offers both indoor and outdoor horseback riding experience. The stables are full of different colored horses and they even have adorable miniature horses in the facility.

Childrenโs Activities

Children will never get bored here. Thereโs a bunch of stuff they can do around the farm. Aside from playing with the animals, they can enjoy the different childrenโs amusement rides and playgrounds. Families can rent an electric bike that sits up to four people to explore the farm. There are also livestock and dog shows where the visitors are entertained by some amazingly talented animals.

Flower Fields
If you want to see colorful flowers, the most popular time to visit is during the months of September and October because this is when the hill is full of pink muhly grass and the fields are filled with orange, yellow, pink and white cosmos flowers. These are the best photo spots in the farm. During the spring season you will see yellow fields of rapeseed flowers and on summer, sunflowers and roses bloom.

Personal Experience

I had fun feeding the animals especially the precious young ones which were so adorable. Most of the animals are used to people so they would actually go to you and allow you to pet them. The sweetest ones were the sheep and the alpacas. We went there during the weekend so there were many Korean families who visited the farm with their young children. It was nice to see how the curious little kids were so happy feeding and playing with the animals. The livestock show was so amusing and full of laughter when one of the pigs decided to run away and had to be chased around by the caretakers.
