A Brief History of Incheon Urban History museum
This museum is the main facility of the 2009 Incheon World urban festival. It shows the past, present and future of Incheon at a glance through various simulations and models.
The building contains the Modern city hall, Incheon Miniature hall with display of the past and present state of Incheon.
The exhibition hall tells the story of the modern Incheon history. The city of Incheon has blossomed into a modern city with the opening of the port. Through the years, the city has gone through many changes.

There is a cafรฉ on the ground floor of the building. You can buy anything from a drink to art works for souvenirs.
From the models, we can see the blue prints of Songdo. The goal is to create a specialized complex of international standard. Songdo is already living up to this dream.
From the model, we can that the area is surrounded by a lot of island. The goal is to make it a tourist attraction. Already, we are already seeing some projects springing up in that location.

How do I get there?
Address: 238 Incheon tower-daero, Yeonsu-gu, Incheon-si.
Depending on where ypu are coming from, You might have to transfer at Bupyeong or Woninjae. If you are coming from Seoul, you transfer at Bupyeong. If you coming from Incheon, you transfer at Woninjae and stop at the Central park station and walk up to exit 3. From exit 3, walk about 30 metres forward, you will find the museum.
They are open everyday except Mondays and public holidays and if the holiday falls on a Monday, the next day is closed. In conclusion, it is totally free to visit and can house about 600 people at once.
