There’s nothing better than a waterfall in a park to cool you off in a hot summer day! Nojeokbong is Korea’s largest artificial waterfall park, it offers a unique atmosphere and a relaxing experience for visitors, with cool waterfalls, musical fountains, and artificial rock climbing.
The place has so much to offer, keep on reading to know all about it:
Korea’s largest artificial waterfall
The summit of Nojeokbong provides a panoramic view of Ansan in Gyeonggi-do, with stunning seasonal sceneries seen from the 2.5-kilometer-long path that attracts many visitors and residents. With a width of 133 meters and a height of 23 meters, the Nojeokbong waterfall at Nojeokbong Park is Korea’s largest artificial waterfall.

Trick Art photo zone
The park features a fun activity where you can trick your followers into believing that you have been adventurous on a scary bridge:
Danwon Museum of Art
Located right next to the park, Danwon Museum of Art serves as a cultural shelter that satisfies cultural needs and provides happiness and comfort through the development of local art and culture and citizen participation programs .
Danwon Museum of Art not only has a symbolic meaning as a ‘landmark’ of the city, but also forms a one-way cultural belt with nearby Seongho Memorial Hall, Danwon Sculpture Park, Youth Training Center, Nojeokbong Falls Park, and Dullegil, building a beautiful cultural and artistic ecosystem.
Danwon Art Museum is described as a place where ‘art and people, nature and culture’ coexist, creating ‘the past, the present, and a green future’.
On your way to the museum, you should stop at Nojeokbong park’s Rose garden. It has a variety of 9,000 roses of 60 species. As you enter the garden, the lovely smell of the roses hits you. I highly recommend going now in June as the flowers are in full bloom.
The waterfall is a well-known sight in Ansan, and the area in front of it is a favorite site for children to play in the water. There is also a badminton court and a baseball field in the park, both of which are often busy.
