Seoul Grand Park is one of the city’s most famous attractions. Seoul Grand Park is a family-friendly amusement park that features a variety of themed facilities that encourage the growth and protection of various animals and plants.
The Botanical Garden at Seoul Grand Park opened in 1985 amid the lush forest at the foot of Cheonggyesan Mountain. The garden includes a greenhouse, display rooms, and themed gardens with over 41,000 plants from 1,262 different species. The greenhouse protects and displays tropical and subtropical plants that are not native to Korea. Furthermore, the Botanical Garden has a variety of plant-related events and experience programs.
The Theme Garden is one of Seoul Grand Park’s most recognizable features. The Rose Garden and Children’s Zoo are part of the Theme Garden. Seasonal plants and flowers, as well as a variety of themed garden programs, are available.
The Seoul Zoo’s mission is to provide an ideal environment for animals to develop and live in, as well as to exhibit, conserve, and study rare animals and to educate the public. As a result of its hard work and efforts, the zoo is the only one in Korea that is a member of both ISIS and IUDZG-WZO.
The Healing Forest Walkway is a walking path lined with a variety of trees that form a lush forest that serves as a home for small animals such as squirrels, rabbits, raccoons, and others. The walking path is about 8 kilometers long and is divided into four parts. The shortest course takes about 30 minutes to complete, while the longest course takes 3 hours.
Last but not least we have Seoul grand park’s campsite. This campsite is ideal for camping, picnics, and outdoor activities with friends and family. The main facilities include a campsite, a volleyball court, a basketball court, a snack bar, and showers. Except in extreme weather conditions, the campsite is open from March to November.
