Petite France [์๋ ํ๋์ค] which means โLittle Franceโ is a small French culture village in Korea. It is an entertainment park inspired by the French architecture where people of all ages can feel a piece of France within Korea. Many Kdrama fans are also familiar with this place because it is a filming location of many shows as the hit Kdrama โMy Love From Another Starโ. Here are some of the activities in Petite France that will let you experience the unique French culture.









1. Plaster Art & Powder Painting


It is an art activity where you can make Petite Prince, the mascot of Petite France, into any way that you want it. The you can take home your finished mascot afterwards. This is a good experience especially for the kids so they can explore their creativity while having fun.
2. Take Photos at Petite Photo Zones
The photo zones in Petite France will make you feel that you are indeed in France. It includes the mini-Eiffel Tower, Photo Zone with the works by Mark Riboud, the famous Parisian photographer, and other zones with fairytale characters.
Additionally, there are also photo zones dedicated for the Kdrama โMy Love from Another Starโ.


3. Play Traditional French Games
In this area, you will have a chance to plat traditional games in France. It includes Petanque, the traditional ball game of France, Bagatelle the original form of pinball, and table soccer.

4. Have Your Own Caricature
In addition, you can also have your own caricature to keep your memories of visiting this French village.

5. Express Your Love through Petite Cloche
If Namsan Tower has love locks, Petite has the Petite Cloche. Cloche means bell in French and it was traditionally used to protect fragile garden plants from being bitten by frost. In Petite France, you use Petite Cloche to protect your message of love and hang it on the baobab tree. These cloches are sold in the kiosk.

- Free to get on buses with a ticket within the routes
- Free to visit tour areas within course stations
- Entrance Fee for the tour sites should be paid by individual

- Take next bus when the bus is full.
By Subway
- Get off at Cheongpyeong Station/ Gapyeong Station (Gyeongchun Subway Line). Get on the shuttle bus for Gapyeong Tourist Attraction. OR
- Get off at Cheongpyeong Station (Gyeongchun Subway Line). Go to Cheongpyeong Terminal (10 minutes on foot). Get on the bus to Goseong-ri.
By Bus
Get on the bus to Cheongpyeong Terminal from Dongseoul Terminal or Sangbong Terminal. Get off at Cheongpyeong Terminal and get on the intercity bus to Goseong-ri.
By ITX
Get off at Cheongpyeong Station/ Gapyeong Station (Gyeongchun Subway Line). Get on the shuttle bus for Gapyeong Tourist Attraction.
After experiencing French culture in Petite France, you can also visit Nami Island to experience being in another country within Korea. They are just few kilometers apart from each other.
