As a Kdrama fan, realistically speaking, exploring Seoul in 1 day will not be enough. Especially if you want to visit many Kdrama filming locations in the city, even a week will be insufficient. But of course, not everyone has all the time in the world to visit all these filming locations in the city. Hence, to save you from searching and help you maximize your travel to Korea, here is a simple 2 Days 1 Night Seoul Itinerary that you can use.
Day 1 Seoul Itinerary
For a simple Kdrama-themed Seoul itinerary, refer to the list below:
- 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM โ Start Your Hallyu Tour at KBS ON Experience Hall
- 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM โ Have a Delicious Buffet Lunch in a Cruise Ship at Eland Cruise

Day 2 Seoul Itinerary
9:00 AM to 10:00 AM โ Start Your 2nd Day Hallyu Tour at Digital Media City
Start your day at the Digital Media City or DMC. t is a high-tech complex that houses top Korea media entertainment and IT companies. As a matter of fact, major broadcasting companies such as MBC and SBS have offices and studios at DMC. Thus, it is no longer surprising that many Korean shows are filmed there. How to get there
- From Airport:ย Get off at Digital Media City Station on the Airport Railroad. Take Exit 9 and walk for 10 minutes.
- From Gyeongui Line:ย Get off at Digital Media City Station on the Gyeongui Line. Take the connecting passage to Exit 9 and walk for 10 minutes.
- From Gyeongui Line:ย Get off at Susaek Station on the Gyeongui Line. Walk for 10 minutes by using the pedestrian road (rabbit cave) that passes through the Gyeongui line railroad.
- By Bus:ย Get off at DMC Promotion Hall or Nuritkum Square MBC.
- Green Bus: 6715, 7013A, 7013B, 7715, 7016, Mapo 15 (Village Bus)
- Blue Bus: 171, 271, 710, 771
- Red Bus: 9711
10:00 AM to 12:00 NN โ Have a Complete Hallyu Experience at MBC World
After visiting Kdrama locations in Digital Media City, head to MBC building which is also located there for a complete Hallyu experience. It is Koreaโs first broadcasting theme park and a haven place for Hallyu fans who visit Seoul. If you are enthusiastic for Kdrama, K-pop, or anything Hallyu-related, you can definitely enjoy touring around MBC World. You can experience dancing and singing with your favorite Kpop idols as well as taking pictures with some Kdrama actors. There are restaurants and fast food chains located inside the Digital Media City and within its vicinity where you can have your lunch. Make sure to eat so you will have the energy for more Kdrama filming location hunt and more walking.
1:30 PM to 4:00 PM โ Enjoy a Stunning View of Seoul at Haneul Park

If you want to add seeing a stunning view of Seoul in your itinerary, then you can also visit Haneul Park. The park was once a landfill area that held over 92 million tons of garbage. Then Seoul Metropolitan Government turned it into a large-scale environmental and ecological park. It is now a green hill of vast grassland and has a beautiful silver grass that blooms in the autumn. 4:30 to 6:00 PM โ Take Selfies with Hallyu Artists at Grevin Museum
Do you want to take selfies with your favorite Hallyu Artists and other worldโs famous personalities but cannot see them in person yet? It is made possible by the Grevin Museum in Seoul! Grevin Museum houses over 80 wax figures of popular personalities that are presented in different themed spaces. You can see Hallyu celebrities like PSY and G-dragon, to figure skating star Kim Yuna, as well as historical figures such as King Sejong and General Yi Sun-sin. For more information, read here.
6:30 PM to Evening โ Dinner and Shopping
And to wrap up your day tour in Seoul, I suggest that you consider the location of your accommodation. If you will be staying in Myeongdong area, you can visit Dongdaemun Plaza or Cheonggyecheon Stream as they are near Grevin Museum and Myeongdong. You an also drop by at Deoksugung Stonewall Walkway which is located near the City Hall subway station, same as Grevin.

But if you are staying in Mapo area, you can spend your night at Hongdae. It is known for its upbeat and vibrant nightlife with karaoke lounges, dance clubs, a lot of restaurants, and gaming rooms.
